About this property

Welcome to Snowflake Resort Chalets

Snowflake Resort Chalets offers a collection of chic, mountain-style lodgings located within the Hemlock Resort ski area, approximately 38 km from Agassiz, BC. Guests can enjoy views of Cartmell Mountain from spacious chalets equipped with kitchens, free Wi-Fi, and amenities suitable for families and pets. While the property does not feature a pool or fitness center, free parking and an airport shuttle are available, and all accommodations adhere to a smoke-free policy.

The resort caters primarily to visitors seeking direct access to winter sports, with a nearby ski and board school enhancing its appeal for those interested in skiing. Reviews highlight the generous living space and relaxing hot tubs, though some note that the ski-in/ski-out access requires a short walk, which can be less convenient for families with young children. Facilities such as paid breakfast are offered, but there is no on-site restaurant, encouraging guests to prepare meals in their well-equipped kitchens.

Nearby attractions include Sasquatch Mountain Resort, known for its terrain parks and snowshoe treks, as well as Sasquatch Provincial Park and Chehalis Lake, offering opportunities for hiking, camping, and wildlife viewing. The location is accessible within roughly two hours’ drive from Vancouver International Airport and Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre, with Abbotsford International Airport slightly closer.

Reviews often mention the cozy mountain atmosphere with rustic yet comfortable interiors, including fireplaces and hot tubs that provide a welcome retreat after outdoor activities. While the chalets offer a quiet and scenic setting, some guests note the distance to the nearest grocery stores and convenience shops, suggesting the property is best suited for travelers prepared for a more self-contained stay.

Our townhouse was a 4 bedroom, we had 4 couples and a toddler with us and it fit us well. The townhouse itself is old but great for skiing and hottub at the end of the day.

Everything has been great. The chalet is spacious and has everything we need and has beautiful views of the mountain. My only small criticism is that although you technically can ski in and ski out, it's a bit of a distance and ends up being a little bit of a hike. Especially with kids in tow.

I stayed there for one night in August 2013 and I should say it is a nice and quite place, the 4 bedroom chalet (number 7) is the cleanest but does not have fire place. the view is very good and it is so relaxing. nice hot tub. closest convenient store is 25 minutes driving downhill and closest grocery store is in Agassiz, 45-50 minutes drive. It is cheaper off the ski season but yet a little over price.

Incredible and beautiful views whilst a 5 minute walk to the Sasquatch Skyline Double chair, these joints are awesome! What better way to spend a weekend with pow, looking out over the mountains with your morning coffee and a post-ride hot tub and cold beer. The place offers a huge amount of living and sleeping space (only one shower unfortunately) with plenty of room for parking, running hot water and a very nice comfy chalet piping hot through an awesome natural fireplace. The amenities are great from foozball tables to hot tubs, it also caters for linen and has plenty of cooking and cleaning equipment etc. This really is so well worth the stay to elevate your experience, will always stay here in the future when shredding Sassy! Note, be careful and ensure you have winter tires and chains otherwise your car will not make it past Hemlock Valley Hill up to the mountain

Great little townhouses. Has everything you'd need inside and is minutes away from the slopes. Hot tub is excellent and very rewarding after a day on the slopes. Will definitely come here again!

Stayed in cabin #1 over Christmas with my family and it was lovely! Very rustic and well set up for a lot of people to sleep, could sleep 3 adult couples comfortably plus children. Loved the gas fireplace and the hot tub on the deck. Beautiful scenery. Well stocked, staff was accommodating, even had a bbq! Would definitely stay here again :)

Great place to stay, we had a hot tub, and pool table. I ended up being 2 families staying at this location with 2 kids each all under the age of 6. We had a fantastic time, and really enjoyed the views. It is worth noting that our place was listed as a ski in and out. It is possible to ski out, however if you have kids they will need to be able to ski a black diamond to ski in. It is mislabelled, and shouldn't be considered a ski in/out chalet. We did enjoy all the other aspects of the place especially for the price we paid.

Really great!! Not only is the cabin huge and super cool, it's clean and not too far from the lifts. I've stayed overnight at sunpeaks a couple of times and this is definitely one of the better places. Will be staying again
